Fleming, Daniel E. "Dan", age 86 of Center Point, AL went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2011. Mr. Fleming was a charter member of North Clay Baptist Church, formerly Center Crest Baptist Church where He served as a deacon. Dan served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel E. Fleming, Sr. and Lillian Opal Fleming; brothers, Leon Fleming and Billy Fleming; sister, Frances Wilson.
Dan is survived by his wife of 64 years, Christine Fleming; daughter, Wanda Kaye Stidham and her husband, Robert and Shelia Faye Dowd and her husband, Mark; sons, Bobby Lee Fleming and Gary Lynn Fleming and his wife, Lynn; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, January 14, 2011 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 2 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
