Dana Bland Roberts

Dana Bland Roberts grew up in Birmingham, AL and is survived by her mother Emma Edwards, 4 brothers Eric Edwards (Myra), Daniel Bland (Cori), John Bland, Ron Bland (Heather), 2 sisters Kim Kreh (Steve), Kerry Bland, her 3 children Erick Nevels (Kendyle), Alley Stines (Matt), Matthew Nevels, 6 grandchildren Josh, Jeremy, Jacob, Jak, Luke, Laycee, and is preceded in death by her dad Daniel Bland, and all of her grandparents. She never failed to tell her family that she loved them. She had a big heart and anyone who knew her knew that she loved with her whole heart. She was very protective of her family and people knew they better not cross that line of bringing harm or wrongdoing towards them. She also loved football and was a huge Alabama fan. ROLL TIDE!! She loved the beach and looked forward to Beach trips with her family and friends, especially after reconnecting with her high school friends in the last 15 years. Dana loved the Lord, life, and her family. Her kids and grandkids were her world. She was someone who always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed singing and dancing and seeing others happy. She always said “if you see someone without a smile, give them yours.” She was a vibrant soul. She was a blessing to everyone around her. The best mom, grandmaw, sister, daughter, and friend anyone could have. The graveside service will be officiated by Pastor David Weir in Friday October 18th at 2:00pm
