Chet was preceded in death by his wife, Christine "Teenie" Lambert; his parents, Mack and Eva Lambert; his son, James Alan Lambert; and granddaughters, Delila Beasley and Vickie Pretzer.
He is survived by his son, Kerry Lambert and his wife Jean; his daughter, Christie Whaley and her husband Alan; his daughter-in-law, Cecelia Lambert; and his grandchildren, Michael Lambert, Rebecca and David Whaley, Stephanie Lunsford and husband Paul and Joe Lambert and his wife Virginia, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life for Chet will be on Thursday, January 2, 2024 starting at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Joe Mills officiating at Ridout's Trussville Chapel 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
