.Charles S. Taylor, age 83 of Irondale, AL, went home to be with the Lord on January 17, 2017. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a member of Liberty Park Baptist Church and a Korean War veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Taylor; son, Charles A. Taylor; parents, Roy and Hazel Taylor; brother, Louis Taylor; and sisters, Essie McNeal and Jewel Whitaker.
Mr. Taylor is survived by daughters, Kathy Taylor Kuzawa, Charlene Smith (Doug), and Angela Jackson (Michael); grandchildren, Stephanie, Jason, Claudia, Holly, Travis, Ricky, Chad, Spencer, and Isabelle; and great-grandchildren, Cooper, Davis, Blayklee, and Taylor.
Visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2017, from 10:30 AM until 12:00 noon at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon with the interment to be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
