passed away Sunday March 29, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles G. and Bonnie Laughlin Hurst, brother Truett, sisters Ruth Rhodersheimer, Kathleen Neal, Rebecca Loveless Corley, Ernestine Rozmeriak, and Lois Blakley. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Audrey Wood Hurst, daughter Bonnie (Joe), son Charles G. Hurst, III (Robbie), grandsons Matthew Perez, Michael Perez, granddaughter Holli Caput, great grandson Michael Caput and many nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held at Elmwood Chapel, Birmingham, Thursday April 2, at 10 AM. Visitation will be 9 – 10 AM. Burial will be in the Alabama National Cemetery at Montevallo. Charles served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
