Carolyn Lee Hann

Carolyn Lee Hann, age 80, of Fairfield, Alabama passed away surrounded by close family friends on Thursday, October 20, 2022. Carolyn was born in Rosalie, Alabama on January 8,1942. She later in life met and fell in love with her future husband, James B Hann Jr. , and married on June 8, 1963. Together, they started a family where she was perfect mother to her children. She was the type of person to always be at hand for anyone who needed her help. There was simply nothing she could not solve or help in making things more at ease to do.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her mother and father Roy Lee Phillips and Ila Mae Phillips, her loving husband James B. Hann Jr. , brothers Earl and James Phillips, and sister Doris Whitecotton.

She is survived by her two sons: Barry Hann(Debra), and Chris Hann(Amy), and her sister Betty Hall. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Andrew Hann, Ali Hann, Logan Tubb, and Anna Tubb.

There will be a visitation held on Monday, October 24,2022 at 1:00PM at Elmwood Chapel located at 800 Dennison Ave SW, Birmingham, Alabama 35211 Following, there will be a graveside service held on Monday, October 24,2022 at 2:00PM in Elmwood Cemetery located at 600 Martin Luther King Blvd. Birmingham, Alabama 35211.
