BLANKENSHIP, CAROLYN M., age 79, of Birmingham, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, December 29, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Jack Blankenship; mother, Inez Pearman Hopkins; and twin brother, Caroll Hopkins. She is survived by her son, David A. Blankenship; daughter, Debbie Bell; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a member of Brewster Road Alliance Church for 40 years. She was a loving mother and her family will cherish her memory always. Her family will receive friends on Monday, December 31, 2012 from 12:30-2:30 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with a graveside service to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery beginning at 3 PM with Dr. David Brown officiating.
