Carol Jackson, 76, of Hueytown, Alabama, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020 after complications from a heart attack. Carol was born in Birmingham to R.C. and Polly Harris on December 18, 1943. Carol worked for the Birmingham Fire Department for three decades as an administrative assistant.
Carol is survived by brothers Michael Harris (Kaye) and David Harris (Nancy), and two children: Angela Pruitt (Marc Pruitt), and Nelson Finwall (Jennifer Smith). She also is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Trevor, Gavin, and Phoenix, and one great-grandchild: Ezra.
Carol was a sweet and loving sister, mother, grandmother and friend, and she will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her.
Services will be held Wednesday, February 19th at 2pm at Johns-Ridout Elmwood Chapel located at 800 Dennison Ave, Birmingham, AL. 35211 with visitation starting at 1pm.
