Carol H. Colburn, age 79, of Birmingham, AL passed away November 13, 2018. Mrs. Colburn was born in Margaret, AL and spent time residing in both Birmingham, AL and Fairhope, AL. She was a member of Eastlake United Methodist Church and enjoyed her passion of being a creative artist. She is survived by her husband, William F. Colburn Sr., son, William F. Colburn Jr. (Kelly), daughter, Lucretia Colburn Pappas (Pete), grandchildren, Dessa Colburn, Lillian Colburn, Zoe Pappas, Nikki Pappas, Alexis Pappas, Demetri Pappas and Gregory Pappas, and brother, Woodrow M. Hughes (Gloria). There will be a visitation Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Johns-Ridout's Funeral Parlors 2116 University Blvd Birmingham, AL 35233 and a Graveside Service on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Eastlake United Methodist Church.
