Carl Trey "Trey" Chamblee

Carl Edward Chamblee III, affectionately called Trey, passed away suddenly on May 16, 2017. He was the husband of Jessica Harrington Chamblee and the father of Jackson Dunn, Jenna Dunn, Braden, and Carleigh.

He is survived by his parents Patricia Linn Rowe and Carl Edward Chamblee, Jr. (Karen Chamblee); his grandparents Herbert and Jean Rowe and Carl Edward Chamblee, Sr.; his siblings Chris Chamblee (Jess Eisenberg), Madison Chamblee, Marlee Chamblee, Troy Rutherford (Misty Rutherford), and Toby Rutherford; his aunts and uncles, Kellie Hughes (Larry), Rene Bradberry (Chris), William “Chip” Rowe (Karen), Keith Chamblee, Carla Snow, and Laura Chamblee: and numerous cousins he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by Mary “Mimi” Chamblee and Steve Chamblee.

He was a member of The Church of the Highlands. He loved God, family, and football, in that particular order. He will forever be remembered for his kindness, his huge smile, his service to others, and the love he had for his wife and children.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017, at 11:00 am at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. The viewing will be from 9:00 am until the time for service. The family, per Trey’s request of celebrating his life, will be dressed in Auburn attire. Feel free to join them. Interment will follow the service at Elmwood cemetery.
