KENT, BRENDA H., age 73 of Pinson, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 21, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Marvin H. Kent; daughters, Kathy Hathaway (Gerry) and Cindy Murphree; and grandchildren, Eric Kent, Kayla Hathaway, Sarah Hathaway, Loren Murphree and Natalie Murphree. Brenda was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Gardendale and a member of the Kateri Circle. Nana was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Her family will celebrate her life with visitation on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 5-7 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Her service will be at the chapel on Thursday, March 25, 2021 beginning at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Labre Indian School Ashland, Montana.
