ABERCROMBIE, BLAKE ANDREW, age 33 of Trussville, went to his Heavenly Home on Monday, October 17, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Nelson “Pop” Abercrombie. He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Amanda Hardin Abercrombie; daughter, Blakely Abercrombie; son, Jack Abercrombie; parents, Dennis and Debbie Abercrombie; brother, Jordan Abercrombie (Brittney); grandparents, Karen Abercrombie, Dale and Dru Howse; niece, Avery Abercrombie; nephew, Brooks Abercrombie; aunts, Cathy Howse and Traci Smeraglia (Bo); cousins, Juliette and Camryn Smeraglia; and many extended family and friends. Blake graduated from Clay-Chalkville High School (three year starter) and UAB. He spent the last five years as Territory Manager for Climatic Comfort Products where he was loved by his coworkers and clients. Blake was an involved member of The Gathering Place Church. He was a loving person with an outgoing personality and was the life of the party with the best laugh. He formed the BA Foundation to raise awareness and funds for research at MD Anderson Clinic for DSRCT. His family will celebrate his life with visitation on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 4:30-7:30 at Clearbranch United Methodist Church. His service will be at the church on Friday, October 21, 2022 beginning at 10:00. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made through bafoundation.net.
