Billy J. Ingram

Dec. 7, 1947 - Sept. 8, 2016 age 68 of Trussville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 8, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Dollie Ingram. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Wanda Ingram; daughters, Kimberly Ingram and Stacey Ingram Wallace; brothers, Lloyd Ingram (Sheila) and Ewell Gene Ingram; sister, Patricia Lee; grandchildren, Matthew and Alana Wallace; cousin, Rachel Bolin; and a host of nieces and nephews. Billy was a charter member of New Covenant Fellowship Church. He was retired from the Army National Guard 131st Aviation Regiment and served active duty during Noble Eagle/Enduring Freedom where he was awarded numerous medals over his career. Billy also retired from Alabama Department of Corrections. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and servant of the Lord. His family will receive friends on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 5-7 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. His service will be at the chapel on Monday, September 12, 2016 beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Wallace, Bryan Benson, Eric Gay, Trez AL-Absi, Randy Parker and Trey Stevens.
