Beverly Sterling went home to be with the Lord on January 2, 2021. She was born in Baton Rouge, LA on September 21, 1945. She grew up in Anahuac, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Monroe Knighton and Velma Scott. She is survived by her husband, Anthony Sterling; children, Keith Sterling (Kristi) and Lola Sterling; grandchildren, Anthony Sterling, III, Dominque (Nico) Sterling, Austin Sterling, Sheayona Sterling, and Shaphelia Sterling; and 12 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 2 pm at Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211. A celebration of life service will follow at 2:30.
