JONES, BETTY E., age 73 of Moody, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy C. Jones, Jr.; brother, Buddy; and sisters, Shirley, Faye, Sue and Donna. She is survived by her daughters, Renae Cooper (Michael) and Pam McCugh (Steven); grandchildren, Ashley Hardeman (Josh), Arielle Crooks (Eric), Christopher McCugh, Stephanie Blevins (Anthony) and Nathan McCugh; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Hardeman, Zachari Hardeman, Noelle Crooks, Aubree Elmore and Andy Blevins; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of New Jerusalem Apostolic Church. Her family will celebrate her life with visitation on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Her service will be held at the chapel on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 beginning at 2:00. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
