Betty Fraser Calvert

Betty Fraser Calvert, age 88 of Fultondale passed away Monday, November 11, 2019. She was a long time member of Fultondale First Baptist Church and was retired from Jenkins, Chastain and Smith Law Firm after many years of service. Her husband of 56 years, Robert (Bob) Calvert and brother Alton (Jacqueline) Fraser preceded her in death. Survivors include her brother, Noel (Bettie Fae) Fraser and brother-in-law, Ronald (Cindy) Calvert; sister-in-law, Carolyn (Roger) Pinyan; and many nieces, nephews neighbors and friends. Betty and Bob were married while still in high school at Locust Fork High School on September 16, 1949. She loved being with family and friends. They loved traveling and belonged to Heart O Dixie Campers; Square Dance Clubs: Campers and Dancers and D.G. Squares; and the Town & Country Cloggers. The family would like to thank Covenant Place and Covenant Woods staff for the loving care she received. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 18, 2019 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with burial at Bethlehem Cemetery, Dallas Loop Rd, Trafford AL 35172. The family will receive friends Monday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
