Barbara Rosentrater Lowe of Santa Ana, California passed away on March 24, 2017. She was 93 years old. Barbara was born in Kankakee, IL but grew up in Hillsborough, CA and attended Sarah Dix Hamlin School in San Francisco before attending Stanford University where she met William Andrews Lowe of Santa Ana. They were married for 46 years before he passed away in 1991. Barbara is survived by her 3 children; William Andrews Lowe Jr. of Austin, TX; Robert Edward Lowe of Portland, OR and Carolyn E. Shupp of Birmingham, AL. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren: Bryan Andrews Lowe, Kathryn Patricia Edeline, Michael Allen Lowe, Bobbie Jo Lowe and Melinda Shupp-Speer and 1 great grandchild, Sadie Lowe Speer.
