HENSON, ANNIE MARIE COLAFRANCESCO Annie Marie Colafrancesco Henson was born February 14, 1925, and passed away June 16, 2011. Survivors include her children, Madeline Reiss (Jake), Marvin John Henson (Rob); grandchildren, Damien Bennati, Sam Reiss, and Katie Reiss; sisters, Bernice Callans (Charles), Josephine Fawcett (Harlan), Catherine Jane Willis (Bob), Virginia Jones (Robert), and Providence Hooper (Sam); brothers, Tony Colafrancesco (Mary Ellen), and Louis Colafrancesco; and many adoring nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Marvin Barnabas Henson; daughter, Sylvia Ann Bennati; son, Daniel Joseph Henson; sister, Geneva Carden; and brother, Salvadore Colafrancesco. Mrs. Henson owned Pratt City Grocery from 1944 until the mid 1970's, and was an active civic leader in her beloved Pratt City neighborhood throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and community and all who knew her. Her generosity and kindness touched many lives, and stories of Mother, Miss Marie, Ga Ga, and Aunt Marie will live on for many years. The family would like to express special thanks to the wonderful staff of Fairhaven who gave Mrs. Henson great comfort and treated her like family. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 20th, 2011 at Johns-Ridout's Funeral Parlors Southside Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
