Annie Biggs

Annie F. Biggs, 92, of Birmingham, passed from this life into eternity on Saturday, September 10, 2011. Born January 20,1919 to late Ethord and Ollie Lett. She was one of six children. She was married to Charles E Biggs. She lived in the Birmingham area for over 80 years. In her later years she moved to Lake Mitchell in Verbena, Alabama. Her life was a living testimony to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her love and guidance helped shape the lives of her children, grandchildren, friends, and all those she touched. She was a member of South Roebuck Baptist Church in Birmingham. She was currently attending Verbena Baptist Church in Verbena, Alabama. She is survived by daughter and Son in Law, Charlsie and John A Hand; Son and Daughter in law, Bill and Marilyn Biggs; Daughter and son in law, Linda and Steve Spratt; Daughter Barbara Ryan; Son Paul Biggs; Daughter Ashley Carmichael; daughter and son in law, Anna and Joshua Noyes; sister Jean Barnes; 13 Grandchildren; and 14 Great Grandchildren, all of Birmingham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; Brothers Cylde, Guy, and Glenn; sisters Flora and Flo. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel from 12-1 PM with the service beginning at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
