PATTON, ANITA E. HENSON, 46, of Pleasant Grove, passed away on July 21, 2012 after long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March, 21, 1966 and was a graduate of Minor High School and Sanford University. She was a dedicated and hardworking employee of Princeton Medical Center for 19 years, where she worked as an R.N. in the neonatal intensive care unit. Recently she was honored by being nominated as employee of the month.
She is survived by: daughter, Brittany Patton Booth (Brandon) and son, Blake Patton; granddogs, Fe-Fe and Daisy. She was preceded in death by: grandparents, William and Gladys Wade of Arley, AL.
Anita was the proudest, most loving mother. She made quick friends with every one she met. She spent her life doing things for others, rather than herself. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24th from 6-8PM at Johns-Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 25th at 11AM at Johns-Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel, with burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
