Alyne "Lucy" Burton

Alyne “Lucy” Burton passed away peacefully in her home in Birmingam, AL, on October 19th. She is survived by her four children, Toni (Ronnie Cechan), Joni Smith, Bill Burton, Bruce (Trish Burton). She was adored by her grandchildren Elizabeth, Katherine, Tyler, Brittany, and Dakota and her great grandchildren Aubree and Hailee. She is also survived by her siblings, Leeman and Homer. Lucy was proceeded in death by her husband, Bill. She was born in Kokomo, MS on July, 23,1933. She was a member at Wilson Chapel Baptist Church. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 10-11 with graveside services following at Ridouts in Trussville. In lieu of flowers, we prefer any donations be made towards the American Heart Association or Dementia awareness.

A visitation for Alyne will be held Monday, October 25, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
