Alice Epp Holmes, 85, of Trussville, AL was called home on October 19, 2018. She was born to William and Frances Epp in Beatrice, NE on April 4, 1933. Alice is survived by her children Jeffrey Holmes (Heather) and Alecia Holmes; grandchildren Mattie Katherine Holmes, Emma Raye Holmes, and Anna Claire Holmes; as well as a host of friends from her church family and assisted living community, Sunrise Ridge. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Trussville where she taught 5-year-olds in Sunday School for over 35 years. Alice was very giving of her time and talents and loved people. To Alice, there was nothing more important than her faith and her family. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Visitation Tuesday, October 23 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235. Service will follow at 12 PM. Burial at Clay Methodist Church Cemetery in Clay, AL.
