She is survived by her long time friend and caregiver Martha Fowler and cousins Sandy Baker of Spokane, Washington, Ann Anderson and Kim Smith both of Birmingham.
Adele was a graduate of Woodlawn High School where she was a cheerleader and known by her class mates as "Little Bit". She was inducted into the Woodlawn High School Hall of Fame in 1995. She was a member of Crestway Baptist Church. She retired from Lovemans with 38 years of service. While working at Loveman's, Adele gained her name as Twinkles while serving as Santa's Helper on the well known Breakfast with Santa Promotion. She also performed in many other sales promotional rolls over the years. Adele was an accomplished accordion player and organist. "Twinkles" continued to use her cheerleading talents in her later years by heading up the Alabama Crimson Tide cheering squad at St. Martins.
Graveside service will be Wednesday December 12, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in Forest Hill Cemetery with Ridout's Trussville Chapel Directing.
There will be a Memorial Service Friday December 14, 2012 at St. Martins In The Pines Chapel at 11:00 A.M.
