Samuel L. Osborne

Samuel L. Osborne, age 81, of Windsor formerly of Stony Point, NY died Sunday, December 7, 2014 with is wife of 60 years by his side he went to be with the Lord. He was predeceased by his parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters also a granddaughter Elizabeth. Samuel is survived by his loving wife Ethel of Windsor children, Sam & Terri Osborne of Bloomingburg, NY, Rich & Magi Osborne of Stony Point, NY, Patty & Fred Gooden of Syracuse, Vanessa & Scooter Conway of Sulpher, LA., grandchildren Chris, Kevin & Andrew, Jeff & Timothy, Matt, Brennum & Ciara, great grandchildren, Amelia & Gabriel, brother, George Osborne of Wurtsboro, NY sister, Frances Brenntnall of Sloatsburg, NY also many nieces and nephews. Samuel was a Veteran of the Korean War having served in the U. S. Navy, he was a member of the Korean War Veterans Eagle Chapter & Local 754 for over 50 years. He loved to garden and was an avid fisher man and a fantastic dancer, he will be missed by many. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home 737 Chenango St. Port Dickinson, NY 13901 from 4-7 PM. and Friday December 12, 2014 at the Edward C. Finn Funeral Home Inc., 43 E. Main St. Stony Point, NY 10980 from 4-8 PM. A funeral service will be at the Edward C. Finn Funeral Home Inc. on Saturday at 10 AM. Burial and Military Honors will take place on Saturday at the Frederick Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spring Valley following.
