Ric Allen Hill

Born June 21, 1943 in Binghamton, NY, he was a son of the late Richard G. and Marion Gage Hill.

Ric proudly served our country in the Navy from 1961-1965. He worked at the Broome County Arena when it first opened as an HVAC Technician and went on to work for IBM in Endicott as a Maintenance Technician for over 24 years until his retirement in 1999. Ric was an avid outdoorsmen and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. In his later years he learned to play guitar and going to various local areas with his metal detector. He will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to know him.

Survivors include his beloved wife Susan Hill; children Marc Hill. Michael Hill (Tammy) and Diedre Case (Joe Barr); grandchildren Tarryn Hill (Joe), Tyler Hill (Kristen), Autumn Hill, Jenna Hill (Gunner), Morgan Hill, Zoe Case, JoseFina Barr and Joseph Barr, Jr.; great granddaughter Madilynn Hill and former daughter-in-law Shawna McMaster.

Calling hours to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 11-12 P.M. at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson. A service to celebrate Ric’s life will follow at the funeral home at 12 P.M. Burial will take place at Vestal Hills Memorial Park, 3997 Vestal Rd, Vestal, NY.
