Mary Y. Makowski

Mary Y. Partenza Searfoss, 96, passed away in the home she loved on June 1, 2012. She is now rejoined with her beloved son, George who predeceased her along with her parents, Virginia and Anthony Partenza; sisters, Argentina Grosso and Elizabeth Knowles; brother, Anthony Partenza; very special son-in-law, Anthony Mincolla; and Danny Marsh, whom she loved like her own son. She treated her children like precious gifts and is survived by her daughter, Jean Mincolla and son, Walter Searfoss, Jr. ( also known as entertainer, Vic Fontaine ). Mary exemplified the true meaning of the word Mom, always putting the welfare of her children first. She also spent many happy days caring for her nieces, especially Connie Danzi, who will miss her favorite Aunt Mary. Just like her son, Vic – music and singing were a great part of her life. In later years, she performed in local clubs. Mary also loved to dance. The family would like to thank Drs. Ramanujan and Nancy Evans for all their care and compassion. We also wish to thank our dear friend, Dolores Pellicciotti for arranging and planning the wonderful long term care our mother has had these past two years from all the nurses C.N.A.’s and Home Health Aides. Thank you Marsha, Tammy, Nancy, Roseann, Edith, Tiala and Kayla for all your kind and gentle care.
