Thoughts are with you and your families at this time of sorrow

We were so blessed to be able to get to know your father over the last year in person, and through those who knew him over many years.  We came to gain a very deep admiration of him, as one who exemplified a spirit-filled life-- seeming to so effortlessly demonstrate what this actually looks like, a man whose spirit shone brilliantly through his character, his thoughtful, caring ways and kind and gentle demeanor.  He truly lived what he believed each day of his life and you have much to be proud of and many happy memories of life, I am sure.  

What a privilege it was for you to have had your Dad for so many years, yet we know that this fact does not make his passing any easier for you.  So, may God comfort you during this difficult time, especially in the knowledge that you know beyond a shadow of a doubt where both of your parents are today and that you too can be with them someday.  

We will be traveling to be with our own elderly parents this weekend, and will cherish them more as we keep you in our prayers. 

May God bless you and keep you all.  We are in the phone book, if you are in the area and would like to stop in sometime.
