On the morning of December 25, 2020, Dino Rossi, 51, entered the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ. Dino was predeceased by his mother, Maria Rossi, Father, Domenico Rossi, Sister, Paula Taylor, and Brother, Tony Rossi. Dino is survived by his loving wife Shannon Rossi, Children who he adored, daughter, Marissa (Dillon) Affatato, Son, Domenico Rossi (Ali), Kaley Kalafut, Kolby Kalafut and Kaden Kalafut, and apple of his eye, grandson, Kingston Kalafut, Sisters, Raffaela Rossi, Anna (Ken) Leonard, Rita (Chris) Kamp, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Dino worked at Colours Inc. for over thirty years and was recently promoted to Zone Operations Director, which he was extremely proud of. He put his all into his job and treated it as though it was his own company. Dino was a jack of all trades and could fix just about anything. If he could not figure out how to fix something, he would spend hours on YouTube until he figured it out. He had a passion for electronics and loved fixing televisions and building computers on the side. He loved spending time at his home away from home at Tagasoke Campground where he enjoyed spending time with family, friends and being out on Oneida lake boating and jet skiing. Dino had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a loving, devoted, amazing husband, father, and friend that left a positive impact on everyone whom he met. Dino will be dearly missed, however; we take great comfort in knowing that we will one day see him again. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 The family would like to thank the medical staff at General and Wilson Memorial Hospital for all their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the Broome County Animal Shelter or charity of your choice. A private memorial service will be held for the family. They have asked that you join them virtually via Facebook Live by going to his daughter Marissa Affatato’s Facebook page on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 1pm.
