William J. “Wild Willie” Harris, 67, of Dunnellon, FL, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at his home. A native of Houston, TX, Mr. Harris was born Feb. 27, 1958 to Edward A., Sr. and Rita (TenEyck) Harris, one of four children. Wild Willie, as he was known to many, was a roofer in the construction industry and of the Roman Catholic faith. An avid motorcycle rider, on his perfect day it would be 75 degrees, feeling the wind on his face. Mr. Harris was faithfully involved in supporting veterans, and held memberships in Chapter 7 Rolling Thunder, many VFW posts, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his children Lisa Lewis (husband Adrian), Ocala, FL and Sherri Martin (husband David), Coushatta, LA; grandchildren Nicholas Dreier, Dunnellon, FL; Izaiah Lewis, Gregory Williams and Victoria Williams, all of Ocala, FL,; Elizabeth Anderson, Natchitoches, LA and Allison Anderson, Olla, LA; siblings Edward Harris wife Clara Duncan), Ocala, FL; Maureen Palmer, Haines City, FL and Kathleen Bell (husband Scott), Winter Haven, FL., as well as his significant other, Angela Titus, Dunnellon, FL.
