Wayne Robert Haynes

Wayne Robert Haynes, 69, of Citrus Springs, FL, passed away on Mon., April 7, 2025 at his home. A native of Red Bank, NJ and raised in Keansburg, NJ, he was born Sept. 14, 1955 to Edwin and Elizabeth (Muir) Haynes, one of five children. Wayne enjoyed a long career as an engineer for A&P Supermarkets; moved to Citrus County 20 years ago from Keansburg, NJ and was of the Methodist faith. Wayne loved fishing and spending time with his wife and family, and especially his granddaughter Jackie and great grandson Julian. Wayne was also an avid golfer, and played with his golfing group two or three times a week. In addition to his parents, Mr. Haynes was preceded in death by his twin brother, David Haynes. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Rosalie Haynes, Citrus Springs, FL; children Roxanne LaFoe, Bonita Springs, FL and Angelo Torres (Tammy), Sibley, IA; granddaughter Jacqueline Torres, Beverly Hills, FL; great grandson Julian “Boy” Torres, Beverly Hills, FL; siblings Dianne Davenport (Lynn), Marco Island, FL; Bruce Haynes (Kathleen), Middletown, NJ and Linda Schroeder (William), Sanibel, FL. Wayne is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and their families: Peter Davenport, Michael Davenport, Jeffrey Haynes, Matthew Haynes, Daniel Haynes, Brandy Boyer, David Haynes and Elizabeth Haynes.
