Walter P. Clevenger, 93, of Beverly Hills Florida, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
Walter is predeceased by his wife, Joan, his parents, Walter, and Margaret (Semlar), two brothers, Samuel (Joyce), and Charles (Virginia) and one sister Ruth (Dani) Swal.
Walter served in the US Marine Corps from 1947 to 1951 and is a Korean War veteran. Walter started the Marine Corps league Archambault Det. 819 in Citrus county 30 years ago. He was also responsible for starting toys for tots in Citrus County over 30 years ago. Walt certainly spent most of his Christmases running around collecting gifts and he was still involved even this past Christmas at the toy drive giveaway.
Walter is survived by his niece and caregiver, Terri (Clevenger) Pasicznyk, as well as three sons, Louis, Vincent, and Walter Clevenger and many other family members.
