Vernon Lester

Vernon Lester, son of Adam and Lucinda Lester took his flight peacefully on June 13, 2021 with his loving wife by his side. He was born on June 10, 1944 in Mohawk, West Virginia. Vernon worked and retired from Ford Motor Company after 31 years. He loved Nascar and loved flowers.

Vernon is preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Lucinda Lester, his brother’s, Jim, Bill, Virgil and French. Also preceded by his two sisters, Ada and Elvie and one granddaughter, Julia Elaine. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda Lockhart Lester, daughter, Veronica Jablonski, 3 grandsons, Gregory, Timmy and Adam, two sisters, Ellen Holzner and Edith Baily and one brother, Herbert Lester. Vernon loved his wife's adopted sister and brother. Katrina Loan and Dennis Lockhart, many nieces and nephews. He loved them all.

A visitation will be on Wednesday, Jun 16, 2021 from 4pm – 7pm at Fero Funeral Home, 5955 N. Lecanto Hwy, Beverly Hills, FL with a graveside service with interment at Fero Memorial Gardens, Beverly Hills, FL on Thursday, June 17, 2012 at 10am. Many thanks to the staff at Seven Rivers Hospital and Hospice for the care they gave him. The last word that he whispered was “Jesus”.
