Like David, I too went all the way through school with Sharon and lived about 500 yards from where she grew up. We also attended the same church and shared many activities growing up. I am very sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Wayne and I were so sorry to hear of Sharon's passing.  Sharon was always a joy to be around. Our hearts go out to you and your family in your time of sorrow. We wish you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.  May all the memories you and your family have

Bill and Family Members:  On behalf of all classmates from Scarborough High School's (SHSs) Class of 1965, please accept most sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.  We will remember Sharon as a wonderful classmate and a devoted friend to all with whom she came in contact.

On a personal note, I knew Sharon virtually from birth through high school.  We only lived about 500 feet away from one another in the Dunstan area of Scarborough, Maine, with the IGA grocery store run by her parents about halfway between our homes.  We went to the same elementary, junior high, and high schools, so on many occasions it almost felt like we were brother and sister (or at least cousins).  Unfortunately, we essentially lost contact with one another when she went away to college in Connecticut after high school and I went into the military a couple of years later.  However, I will hopefully never forget all the great memories from our first 18 years of life.

I met Sharon as a dedicated nurse totally devoted to her family, patients and with the greatest compassion for humanity. She loved pets and people & her heart was larger than life. To the most humble, loving and extraordinary mother a son could have. She poured herself into her family and always put others first. My mom will be dearly missed as we celebrate her life on earth and eternal home in Heaven.

I was blessed to have Sharon as a mother-in-law for many years. She was a very loving and generous person who cared deeply for her family. She is, and will be, greatly missed.

We would pick her up from her dorm have dinner with her and bring her back.  She was here for awhile, very pretty, very nice.
