Dear Family of Roger Smith:

I am a third cousin of Roger and his siblings and live in Southern California.  In late 1950's or early 1960 was the last time my family and I had the opportunity to visit his family in Muskegon prior to moving to California in 1962.  The whole family left a wonderful memory that has come back to me with learning of his passing from another cousin, Donna Peterson yesterday.  My thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

Sue, As part of the english connection we will miss Roger and his wonderful dry sense of humour which go's down well on this side of the pond. I could never understand how his golf handicap could vary from 8 to 14 between trips to Florida. He will be missed. Love to you and all the family.
