Robert C. Veeder, Sr.

Robert C. Veeder, Sr., 82 of Beverly Hills, Florida died on Monday, October 17, 2016. He was born on Thursday, August 16, 1934 to Clarence L. and Hattie (Gable) Veeder in Clifton Springs, New York. Robert was retired from the United States Navy after 20 years as a photographer's mate chief petty officer. Upon retirement he worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed woodworking and playing cards. Robert was a member of North Oak Baptist Church.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Monica J. Veeder of Beverly Hills, Florida; sons, Robert C. Veeder, Jr. of Bushnell, Florida and Lance B. Veeder of Port Richey, Florida; step daughters, Dawn Wilkins and husband Steven and Nicole Jones and husband Mauricio all of New Jersey; brothers, Gary Veeder and wife Lorraine of Waterloo, New York and Jay Shoots of Seattle, Washington; sisters, Bonnie Thomas of Waterloo, New York and Catherine Cowan of Seattle, Washington; granddaughter, Fallon Veeder of Pensacola, Florida; two great grandsons; five step grandchildren; seven nephews; five nieces and nineteen great nieces and nephews.

Visitation, Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 9:30 AM with a Church Service at 10:30 AM at North Oak Baptist Church. Military Honors will follow at 2:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery.
