Nancy Lee Jones

Nancy Lee Jones, 82 of Inverness, Florida passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013 in the loving care of her family. She was born on Wednesday, June 10, 1931 in Lynchburg, Virginia to Beverly Hale and Bertha Ola (Rigney) Jones. Nancy was a retired civil servant of the Federal Government as an office administrator. She served at the Pentagon and the U.S. Navy War College. Nancy moved to this area 16 years ago from Manassas, Virginia. She enjoyed doing yard sales, loved to go to the Army-Navy concerts in D.C. and liked hiking the mountains.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, James E. Jones of Inverness, Florida; sons, Steve Jones and wife Debby of Inverness, Florida, Phillip Jones and wife Johnnie Lynn of Chatanooga, Tennessee, Keith Jones of Manassas, Virginia and Eric Jones and wife Linda of Romney, West Virginia; daughter, Audrey Jones Morgan and husband Frank of Mechanicsburg, Maryland; brothers, Sam Jones and wife Marsha, Junior Jones and wife Gladys and Garland Jones all of Lynchburg, Virginia; sisters, Betty Epperson and husband Robert of Forest, Virginia, Shirley Meeks of Lynchburg, Virginia and Elaine Covington and husband Tom of Richmond, Virginia; granddaughters, Tracey Jones, JoAnna Jones DesFonds, Ashley Morgan Klotzbach, Summer Morgan, Suzanne Jones, Amanda Banks, Chelsea Morrison and Angela Jackson; grandsons, Bryan Jones, Zachary Morgan and Logan Jones; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation, Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with Chapel Service following on Friday, November 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Fero Funeral Home. Interment, Fero Memorial Gardens.
