Mitchell A. Ozirsky

Mitchell has spent his retirement in Florida after spending decades in Woodridge, Illinois working as a machinist and raising his family. Mitchell was born in Bristol, Connecticut, where he met and married his high school love, former Barbara B. Ozirsky. Mitchell was a loving and devoted husband and spent nearly 57 years with Barbara. Mitchell considered himself fortunate, committing to volunteer for the Florida Veteran Medical Center, the Beverly Hills Sheriff Department, and the Knights of Columbus (#6168).

Mitchell will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a giving and helping man who enjoyed time with friends, lunches, dinner parties and card games.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his wife Barbara B. Ozirsky and survived by his five children: Marianne (Rubino), Mitchell, Thomas, Gerianne and Nancianne (Mahoney); eight grandchildren: Brandon, Kenny, Kristy, Jimmy, Mitchell, Zachary, Vera and Tola; two sisters, a brother and many loving nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 6 Roosevelt Blvd, Beverly Hills, FL 34465.
