Nieman, Michael John was granted his angel wings on November 21, 2016 wife Lola at his side following a brief Illness. Mike was born in Berwyn, Illinois on November 14, 1944 the son of John Michael Nieman and Elda Catherine (Oliver) Nieman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dick Nieman and stepson Chris Hardister. Mike is survived by his loving wife Lola Nieman of 13 years, after having been next door neighbors for 25 years, son Bob Nieman and wife Le Venia and granddaughter Gisele Nieman of Cocoa, Fl. step daughter Emily Hardister Vazquez and granddaughter Lyna of Beverly Hills, Fl.
Mike loved the outdoors, loved to camp and was a longtime great fisherman in South Florida area, also a accomplished photographer.
Following serving his country in the U.S. Coast Guard, while waiting on photographer career he started work at Florida Power and Light Company and stayed around for 35 years. Then we retired to our peaceful home in God’s country, Pine Ridge.
