Joe was a kind and gentle man who lived and died with dignity, always with a story or conversation for anyone who was within earshot. He enjoyed his family, golf, travelling with his wife, the friends he had made in his journey through many cities in work and retirement. One of many cherished memories was Joe’s passion of keeping his cars white-glove clean, a reflection of the orderliness of his personality. Family and friends would often find their own vehicles in his driveway given the once over with Joe standing by with a smile of satisfaction on his face as he sent another clean car down the highway towards home.
Services will be private. Internment will be at Florida National Cemetery at Bushnell, FL next to his Betty where they will be together again.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the VFW Post 10087 Beverly Hills, FL or the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport, CT.
