Jesse R. Jackson, 69 of Hernando, Florida died on Wednesday, July 6, 2011. He was born in Thomasville, North Carolina on Thursday, May 7, 1942 to Jesse L. and Willa Dae (Gordon) Jackson. Jesse was a retired electrician and moved to this area from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 2005. He was of the Baptist faith, an avid fisherman and lived life to the fullest. Jesse was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Patricia Jackson of Hernando, Florida; sons, Charles Jackson and wife Stacey of New Hampshire and Bruce Jackson and wife Jennifer of Georgia; sister, Judy Tharp and husband Bobby of Plant City, Florida; granddaughters, Rachel, Julia, Deven and Dakota Jackson.
Memorial Service of Remembrance will be private.
