Jeannine H. Grivois

Born January 26, 1932, Jeannine was raised in Van Buren, Maine the daughter of the late Prudent and Eva (Pelletier) Ouellette. She was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph Norman Grivois in 2015 after 62 years of marriage.

Jeannine’s life was devoted to raising her family living in New Hampshire and Ohio before moving to Florida in 1990 with Joseph to begin retirement life. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Council 6168, Lecanto, FL and in 1995 became a member of the Citrus County Cracker Quilting Guild. Jeannine loved to dabble in many hobbies; ceramics, basket making, painting, quilting and most especially enjoying her family.

Jeannine is survived by her 6 children; 3 daughters Theresa Jakeway of Ocala, FL, Debra Grivois of Cincinnati, Ohio and Tina and her husband Joseph Dawson of Galena, OH., 3 sons Michael Grivois and his wife Chris of San Tan Valley, AZ., John Grivois and his wife Debbie Ann of Lecanto, FL. and Gary Grivois of Crystal River, Fl., 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Brothers and Sisters in-Law; Eugene Grivois and his wife Virginia of N. Londonderry, NH., Thomas Grivois of Manchester, NH., Joseph R. Grivois and his wife Sandra of Lecanto, Fl., Jeannine Hodgdon of Lecanto, Fl., and Carlene Grivois of O’Fallon, MO., many nieces and nephews and special niece Norma Jean Levesque, Presque Isle, ME.

Jeannine was predeceased by her son-in-law Terry ‘Jake’ Jakeway, 5 brothers and 5 sisters, and her sisters in law Joan Galvin and Rachel Akerley.

Arrangements made by Fero Funeral Home 5955 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, Fl. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church 455 S. Suncoast Blvd, Crystal River, Fl. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Fero Memorial Gardens, Beverly Hills, Fl.

Memorial donations may be made in Jeannine name’s to either Vitas Healthcare Lecanto, Fl, Knights of Columbus Council 6168 or St. Benedict’s Catholic Church.
