A Custom Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Fero Funeral Home 5955 N. Lecanto Hwy., Beverly Hills, FL 34465, with Memorial Services to begin at 3:00 p.m.
She was born in Flint, MI, on March 20, 1945, to Howard Nielsen and Barbara Jean Porter Nielsen. Janet graduated from Fenton Sr. High School, and continued her education at Flint Community college.
She worked for many years as a respected Preschool Teacher by sharing her love of early childhood care and education. On August 4, 1991, she married Sam G. Paulson. In her spare time, Janet enjoyed arts, crafts, country western dancing, RV traveling, ATV riding, camping, and gardening. More than anything, her heart was always with her grandchildren, and she could be found cheering them on in all their activities.
Janet is survived by her husband, Sam; children, Jill, Jeff, Julie, Gregg, Greg, and Steven; grandchildren, Misty, Megan, Logan, Ty, Lindsey, Kyle, and David; siblings, Judy, Jimmy, and Linda; and a host of beloved extended family members and friends.
