He was born June 7, 1943 and was one of ten children born to Robert and Laura (Hensley) Davis in Holden, West Virginia.
He was retired from Ford Motor Company where he had worked for 35 years.
He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 56 years Shirley, his daughters Sherri (Sam) Dittoe, Karen (Kevin) Strnad, and Lora (John) Wendl, his grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica, Heather, Brett, Jacob, Hannah, Lexa, Janalyn, and great grandchildren Jackson and Piper. He is also survived by his sister Bobbie Jean Propst, brother Keith (Barbara) Davis, brother Tom (Katherine) Davis, sister Alice Beardslee, and many wonderful nieces, nephews and extended family. He is also survived by sister-in-laws, Vera, Kathryn, Karen and many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters Jo, Anne and Judy; and brothers Douglas, Jim and Jerry.
Curtis was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing golf, singing, and playing guitar and mandolin with his wife and dear friends. He was a friend to anyone he met, and will be greatly missed by all. We have many wonderful memories of our times together.
Cremation care is under the direction of Fero Funeral Home, Crematory & Memorial Gardens, Beverly Hills, Florida.
