Betty Jane Roman

Betty Jane Roman, 82 of Beverly Hills, Florida passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011 in the loving care of her family and Hospice of Citrus County. Betty Jane was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on Thursday, August 23, 1928 to Emery and Katherine M. (Chopik) Kristoff. She was a retired typist with Columbia Records and a homemaker. Betty Jane was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, loved golfing, going to movies, music and dancing.

Betty Jane was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Kristoff.

Survivors include her husband of 62 1/2 years, Joseph L. Roman of Beverly Hills, Florida; daughters, Kathi Brogan and husband Marty of Manlius, New York and Nancy Love and husband Rick of Littleton, Colorado; son, David Roman of Ocala, Florida; grandchildren, Jane Brogan of Manhattan, New York, Matt Brogan of Brooklyn, New York, Crystal Love of Chicago, Illinois and Kelsey (Love) Meister and husband Nick of Denver, Colorado and great granddaughters, Isabelle and Hazel Meister of Denver, Colorado.

Funeral services for Betty Jane will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
