Anna Vorwerk, 86 of Crystal River, Florida died on Sunday, October 3, 2010. She was born in Yugoslavia on January 18, 1924 to Michael and Anna (Ernst) Lohrer. Anna immigrated to the United States in 1952 from Austria and moved to this area from Wisconsin in 1973. She was a member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Crystal River, Florida.
Anna was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and reading. Her family was her life.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, August Vorwerk of Crystal River, Florida; sons, Herman Vorwerk of Arizona, John Vorwerk and wife Peggy of Fredonia, Wisconsin, Rudy Vorwerk and wife Debbie of West Bend, Wisconsin, Mike Vorwerk and wife Sandy of Jackson, Wisconsin and Joe Vorwerk and wife Bonnie of Ocala, Florida; sisters, Kathy Guger and husband Franz of Enns, Austria and Maggie Giebl of Germantown, Wisconsin; 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation, Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM with a chapel service following at 10:30 A.M at Fero Funeral Home. Entombment will be private at Fero Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
