Saundra J. Stewart, better known to her family and friends as Sandy, was born to James R. Best and Martha Faye (Best) Hale in Chickasha, Oklahoma in 1942. She leaves behind her two daughters: Dominique (Stewart) Shadid, and Nicole Stewart, her sister, Linda (Best) Scott and two grandchildren, Lena and Milo Shadid. Sandy’s passions were gardening, art, decorating, travel, pet lover, and Grandmother. She was an avid supporter of her girls in Elementary School as a PTA member and Leader in Campfire and Girl Scouts. Sandy also supported the March of Dimes, a Christian Women’s Club, as well as a Gardening Club that was associated with the Will Rogers Gardens in Oklahoma City. Sandy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.
