Ruth Marie (Rogers) White passed away July 23, 2020 in Oklahoma City at the age of 83. She was born February 1, 1937 in Oklahoma City to Carl H and Lillian(Kooken) Rogers. Ruth spent most of her life in Bethany. She attended school in Bethany and Putnam City. She worked at the Bethany Hospital for 26 years. She was the chairwoman of the party committee at the hospital and always made sure that everyone had fun. Her greatest love was her family. She was always present and involved in their lives thru the good times as well as the bad times. She loved her pets, China, Chance and Missy. Everyone who knew Ruth, knew she was a lot of fun! Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and her 4 siblings, Kenneth Rogers, Margarete(Rogers) Robertson, Paul Rogers and Joe Rogers. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Denise Whitson Basinger and husband, Dennis of Oklahoma City, 2 grandsons, Frank Whitson of Oklahoma City and Carl Whitson and his wife, Katie of Moore, 2 great grandchildren, Patrick Medina-Reier and Lillian Whitson, sister-in-law, Carlene Rogers of Sulphur, OK as well as many nieces, nephews, extended and blended family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, July 27, 2020 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm with the family available to greet friends from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
