Ross Johnson

The world will seem slightly less kind and generous without Ross, who passed on January 21, 2023. He was born April 14, 1949, in Dallas, TX to Lee and Aliene Johnson who preceded him in death. After moving around in his youth, he attended Oklahoma City University where he obtained his JD and met his wife, Ann Johnson, who preceded him in death. After retiring from the State of Oklahoma, he spent several years in private practice, but recently decided to retire to enjoy his golden years. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing and was looking forward to spending more time with his hobbies as well as getting to travel with his brother. He also served as chairman of OCU's Kappa Alpha housing corporation. He was a friend of Bill W. for years and was always a giving man to those who needed someone to help. He is survived by his two children Hilaire Johnson and Zachary Johnson as well as his sister and brother Helen Godfrey and Michael Johnson. He will be missed by all who knew him and whose lives he touched, but especially Bailey his last remaining canine child.
