Phyllis J. Wilcox

On Thursday September 15th 2022, Phyllis Jane Wilcox, loving mother of two children, passed away at the age of age 72. Phyllis was born on May 17th 1950 in Frederick, OK to David and Elizabeth Mae Hickman. She graduated from Fort Supply High School in 1968. Phyllis attended college at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK. Phyllis operated an in home day care center for over 20 years at her home in Bethany, OK. She then went on to work at Home Depot where she retired in 2011. Phyllis had a passion for OU football and the lake life. She also loved trips to the casino with her sister Beth and her daughter in law Wendy. Phyllis was preceded in death by her loving husband Garland Wade Wilcox, her parents David Yeary Hickman and Elizabeth Mae Collier, her brothers Phillip James Hickman and David Keith Hickman. She is survived by her children George Wade Wilcox and his spouse Wendy Jo and her daughter Jennifer Nicole Wilcox. Her grandchildren Garrett Wilcox and his spouse Tiffany, Morgan Vineyard and her husband Justin, Jaxson Schufford, Ford Hunt and Ryane Hunt, great grandchildren Gideon Vineyard, Bentley, Ava, Eden, Zelah, and Maccabee Hunt, brother Robert Hickman and his spouse Phyllis Ann, her sister Beth Holinsworth and her spouse Bob, nieces and nephews David Hickman and his spouse Trina, Lorene Miller and her spouse Tal, Raynell Abram and her spouse Jim, Ron Hickman and his spouse Tootie, Brian Holinsworth and Dorothy Hollingsworth as well as many great nieces and nephews. Myka Wilcox held a special place in her heart as well, along with all of the people that Mema loved.
