Paula Hart passed from this life the night of May 9th. She had suffered a slow decline in health over the last several years but always maintained a cheerful attitude and a positive outlook on life. She enjoyed the antics of her two great grandsons and liked to draw comparisons to her own younger years raising two active boys of her own.
Paula came to this country with Bob Hart in 1952 as a war bride with two little boys already keeping her busy. They settled in Jacksonville, Illinois, Bob’s hometown, where they lived for several years. They relocated to Oklahoma City a few years later where they remained for the duration of their lives.
Paula was a devoted housewife and Mother and prided herself on keeping an immaculate house. She was a good cook and a delightful hostess always ready to serve guests tea or coffee on her best china. Paula later took a job working at Lady Classen Cafeteria where she delighted patrons with her winning smiles and charming personality. True to her nature she was a hard worker and a valued employee there for over 20 years. Bob Hart preceded his wife in death 19 years ago, a sorrow that Paula carried to the day of her death.
Paula is survived by her son Harry Hart and his wife Michele; son Robert Max Hart and his wife Martha; granddaughter, Haley Hart and her husband William James; and two great grandsons, Julian and Theodore Hart.
A graveside service will be held 2pm Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
